Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Memphis East/Galleria

Tiffany at the front desk was absolutely amazing. Sweet, kind, welcoming. I had been driving 10 hours and was finding it difficult to find a room late at night and so close to the holidays. Everywhere else was either way overpriced or full. She totally helped me out and saved my butt for the night. Thank you Tiffany!

Newly updated rooms are very nice. Hotel is behind several restaurants and actually very quiet too. Would definitely stay here again!

The customer service was fabulous!! The rooms were nice and clean, along with the beds comfortable. We had a room on the end, by the staircase, so you could hear people going up and down the stairs all night. And the pool area has a very strong chlorine smell, which gave me a headache. However we really enjoyed the hotel and all of the staff, from the front desk, to the ladies who were tending the breakfast area, were great!! We liked that the TV could connect to our netflix. Overall we had been pleasant experience. We will definitely return.

Although the building is older, it was incredibly clean and well kept. We arrived at 10:45 PM, and the front desk representative was mopping the floors (maintaining the already clean lobby), which was impressive. Room and bathroom was very clean. Employees were SO nice. AND the coffee was even good!

I was really surprised by the wide mix of reviews from previous guests on Marriott's website. Upon visiting, the lobby was immaculate and smelled great. The carpet looked new. Only 2 loud cars drove by during daylight hours compared to other semi local Fairfield locations. The room was very nice. The bed was comfortable enough. The bathroom was quite large and the shower head was excellent. The water pressure was excellent. The pool and hot tub area were a nice bonus as we used it this time. Too bad it's inky 4 feet deep, but as a bonus, it's compliant for those that are handicapped which require a lift to enjoy the pool.

This newly renovated hotel is the ideal spot to stay while in Memphis because it's conveniently located between Bartlett and other small suburbs. They've just renovated the second and third floor and are in the process of renovating the first floor along with the workout room, Swimming Pools and more. They have a complimentary 7:00 a.m. breakfast which is always fantastic when you're starting a day. The rooms are always clean and the staff is super friendly. The only tip I have is that if you book a room make sure to try to book it on the side of the hotel facing the parking lot as there is a trash truck at the neighboring hotel that always comes at 4:00 a.m. to pick up. It's not the fault of the Marriott, just the fact that the neighboring hotel has the trash can place super close to the rooms. We stay here three times a year and a have for the last 7 years and I've never had a bad experience. I would recommend this hotel over any neighboring hotels around.

After reading the reviews before our arrival, I was apprehensive about what we were walking into. I was pleasantly surprised with the hotel. The only downside was that the hot tub was out of service and has been for some time. I stayed in a king suite for the last week and the room, on my arrival, was spotless. There was no mold in the bathroom or on the windows, the Linens and towels were clean, with no stains. The air conditioning worked well. All of the staff we interacted with with friendly and helpful. Demo, one of the front desk staff, did an amazing job throughout our stay. He was always smiling and I watched him more than once literally run to grab something for a customer. Hopefully management recongnizes what an asset he is to their team. The breakfasts were what you would expect from a continental breakfast and in the week I was there, all aspects were consistently well stocked. The pool was warm, and at its deepest is approximately 3' deep. I would return to this hotel. It's approximately 1/2 an hour from downtown and all of the "touristy" things in Memphis, but was the perfect location for our purpose.

Last minute stay while traveling and I was treated very well by Souji on check in and Hunter on check out. The hotel is a little worn but being remodeled as signs of new carpet in some areas and freshly painted. The staff made every accommodation I requested and offered more if needed. I will stay again if traveling this way. Very convenient to restuarants, shopping interstate access.
